At our Woudenberg site, we have professional facilities for washing and rinsing our equipment. At Van Bentum, clean equipment is a matter of course: no truck or trailer leaves our premises without being washed. This keeps our fleet presentable and in optimum condition.
At our in-house wash facility, we thoroughly clean the exterior of trucks and trailers, both for our own fleet and for third parties. This ensures equipment returns to the road clean and presentable.
Certified silo trailer cleaning
Silo trailers used to carry dry, non-hazardous substances are cleaned internally at our own facility. Internal cleaning is carried out exclusively for our own equipment and in accordance with SQAS and ATCN requirements. Following cleaning, we can issue a European Cleaning Document (ECD).
Van Bentum participates in Operation Clean Sweep (OCS), an international programme that helps prevent plastic granules from entering the environment. As we regularly handle granules in our transport, cleaning, storage and transshipment operations, we have incorporated targeted control measures into our procedures. Our employees receive clear instructions on preventing product loss and on cleaning up any spilled granules immediately and thoroughly.
